Tips for Candle care

Trim the wick to 1/4'' before candle is lit each time after the first burn, to prolong its burn time.
Burn your candle so wax pool reaches the jar edge each time and especially the first time, to prevent wax tunneling.
It is time to let go when candle has 1/2'' of wax remaining. The candle could overheat its container, create a mess, or both.
Keep candle away from fans, open windows, hot surfaces, children, and pets.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Burn candle no more than 4 hours at a time to prevent carbon from collecting on the wick, which will lead the wick to mushroom. This can cause the wick to become unstable, the flame to get too large, your candle to smoke, and soot to be released into the air and around your candle container.
